Shield Exteriors is growing and our field marketing department is in need of a Canvassing Manager. This position is for an established canvasser looking to step up to the next level or a current canvass manager looking to increase your pay and the opportunity to work for the #1 company in the roofing industry. The ideal candidate will be a leader, coach, creator and psychologist that will be able to motivate and lead a successful team both mentally and physically.
This is NOT an entry level position and WILL require someone who understands territory, leading a canvass team, leading weekly meetings while also knocking doors themselves to increase their bonus potential on top of earning overrides from the performance of their team. This is a management position that will be well compensated for the ideal candidate.
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
MUST have a valid driver's license
MUST have previous canvassing experience. This is not entry level
MUST know and understand territory which includes a 2 hour radius around Fort Wayne, IN. This includes Ohio and Michigan...Ideal candidate will know territory like the back of their hands and has physical maps of the territory that they can use to plan ahead
MUST have territory planned and ready weekly and individual canvassers assigned to each location and vehicle
MUST be able to lead a team of young inexperienced canvassers and provide training and motivation for them to learn and succeed while pushing daily production
MUST be able to recruit and train new canvassers in order to maintain company goals and maintain order by disciplining poor attitude/performance
Canvass managers are required to plan territory and execute a DAILY goal and quota
The Canvass manager is required to keep a daily log of territory and performance and report back to the marketing director...These include vehicle log sheets and street sheets
Work closely with the marketing director to plan and execute strategy
Plan and lead weekly marketing meetings and address and discuss shortfalls and strategy
Most important trait is to have a management and success mindset...Motivating your team and keeping everyone up to 100% performance is the most important part of this job
