Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant
Accountant/Bookkeeper/Office ManagerWe are seeking a highly motivated individual, for a long term position, with a growing construction contracting company. The position is a mostly in-office position performing all bookkeeping functions, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and managing the office; tracking job costs, reviewing sub-contractor proposals & invoices, and preparing customer requisitions. Candidate will also monitor daily emails, answer the phone, and follow up on proposals while working side by side with the owners to create a meticulously efficient office.
Job Responsibilities:
· Accounting/Bookkeeping
· Create expense reports, billing & entering payroll
· Organize, plan & prioritize workload
· Maintain project files and paperwork
· Follow up on correspondence and requests
· Assist as needed for project completion & overall growth of company
· Maintain and record notes during office meetings
· Assist in the preparation of bid packages
· Track job progress and paperwork, status of orders & client change orders
· Prepare spreadsheets and other organizational tools to help facilitate projects
· Handle all A/R and A/P duties
Skills and Requirements
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Proficient computer literacy
Two or more years’ experience in construction business preferred but not required
Must be well versed in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and customers with discretion and good judgment
Ability to take direction well and follow through independently
Ability to prioritize workloads with multiple projects and varied office duties
Clear understanding of basic construction terminology and processes
Experience:
bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)
Quickbooks: 3 years (Required))
administrative assistant: 2 years (Required)

Monday to Friday
Hourly Range: $14-$20 based on skills and experience.
