Team Lead

Do you have a passion for pets and a knack for leadership? Camp Bow Wow is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Lead to join our pack!

About the Role: As a Team Lead at Camp Bow Wow, you'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe, fun, and enriching environment for our Campers (dogs!) and our team. This role requires open availability, as you’ll oversee all shifts and activities, from early morning drop-offs to evening pick-ups. If you're a natural leader who loves pups and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of Camp Counselors, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, monitoring play areas and activities.

Provide top-notch customer service, building strong relationships with pet parents.

Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, training new staff, and managing inventory.

Handle administrative tasks such as check-ins, reservations, and payment processing.

Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility for pets, clients, and team members.

Requirements:

Open availability, including weekends and holidays.

Prior experience in a leadership role, preferably in the pet care, hospitality, or customer service industry.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Passion for working with animals and a commitment to safety and care.

Ability to work in a physically active role, including lifting up to 50 lbs and being on your feet for extended periods.

Disclaimer: This position requires a lot of energy, patience, manual labor, standing for long periods of time. Dogs and caring for a group of dogs, comes with sweat, drool, hair, barking & cleaning up routinely. It takes someone special, with an inner calm & an ability to multitask well under pressure to succeed in this role. Attendance & punctuality are non-negotiable for this role.
