Position Summary: The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the bar during assigned shifts. This role ensures smooth service, supervises staff, maintains excellent customer experiences, and upholds company standards. The Shift Leader acts as the point of contact for bartenders, servers, and barbacks, while assisting management in driving sales, enforcing policies, and resolving issues in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, support,support bartenders, servers, and barbacks during shifts.

Lead pre-shift meetings to review goals, specials, and expectations.

Ensure all guests receive exceptional service in a welcoming environment.

Monitor bar flow, staffing needs, and adjust assignments as necessary.

Handle guest concerns and resolve complaints quickly and professionally.

Oversee cash handling, tip distribution, and nightly reconciliations.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health/safety regulations.

Enforce responsible alcohol service policies and verify proper ID checks.

Train and mentor team members to strengthen service and efficiency.

Communicate shift updates, challenges, and achievements to management.
