The Shift Leader plays a key role in the daily operations of the convenience store. This position supports the store management team by supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and overseeing sales transactions and inventory during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of store associates during assigned shifts
Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times
Open and/or close the store following company policies and procedures
Handle cash register operations and reconcile shift-end cash reports
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking and restocking shelves
Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards
Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
Assist in training and mentoring new team members
Enforce company policies and procedures, including security protocols
Communicate effectively with store management about shift activities and issues
