This position works alongside other hotel staff in a leadership role. As the hotel shift manager, you will be in charge of scheduling staff, assigning tasks to hotel personnel, dealing with client complaints, and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed. Responsibilities: • Set performance goals and encourage team members to achieve these goals • Maintain and ensure that each site is well stocked, order supplies, and arrange the product delivery • Handle all aspects of personnel including overseeing, scheduling shifts and training hotel staff for better compliance and productivity • Assign tasks to employees and ensure they are completed effectively and properly • Ensure high guest satisfaction in all service areas by managing and directing staff • Prior experience working with Marriott branded properties in a similar capacity is preferred Qualifications: • Experience with MS Office and other computer skills desired • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills • Previous experience of 2 or more years managing staff is required • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred • Prior hospitality experience is required, as well as the ability to perform different hotel employee roles Compensation: $42,000 - $47,000 yearly
• Prior experience working with Marriott branded properties in a similar capacity is preferred
