SHINE Systems, LLC, is currently seeking Readiness/Deployment Specialists located in Charlottesville, Virginia, Reston, Virginia, and Bethesda, Maryland. Readiness/Deployment Specialists provide support to military, government and contract personnel deploying and contingency temporary duty (TDY).

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Nominate personnel for deployment to the DIA Expeditionary Readiness Center (EXRC).
  • Manage the pre-deployment training process.
  • Understand and use the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Understand and use the JSOC Information Automated Network (JIANT)
  • Facilitate international visit requests.
  • Maintain an account in myHR to access the Deployment module.
  • Ensure compliance with and disseminate the Foreign Clearance Guide (FCG).
• Understand and use the Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS).
• Assists in composing non-technical correspondence to include endorsements, requests for data, briefings, rosters or reports.
• Coordinates submission of Country and Theater Clearance requests. Advises travelers on Combatant Command travel requirements to include obtaining Official passport and visas.
• Provides support to deployed personnel, as required, to ensure updated documentation and identification.

• Maintains awareness of updated theater travel requirements and regulations and JTFR.

Experience/Education

• At least five (5) years of administrative support experience with direct knowledge and functional expertise in DoD deployments.
• Solid understanding of the JFTR is highly desired
• Experience with DTS is highly desired.
