Shingle & Gibb Automation has a full-time position for an Accounting Clerk at our Headquarters located in Moorestown, NJ.

Our Accounting Clerk will work within the Accounting Department amongst a team of individuals who work collectively to maintain the financial records on behalf of S&G. We’re not talking about a small amount of work either, we’re talking about getting the job done and done right for a company who grosses millions of dollars in revenue. The successful candidate should be a true self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced environment as a valued team member with a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. The perfect candidate should be ready to provide financial, administrative and clerical support within the Accounting Department and although numbers is where it’s at, we are also looking for someone who shares a passion for the customer. WHAT ARE YOUR REQUIREMENTS?
· You will be able to provide exemplary customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· You will be experienced in accounting and financial reporting processes, including a working knowledge of debits, credits, and general ledger skills; some college-level accounting a plus.
· You will be experienced in tasks including basic A/P, A/R, billing, and other accounting functions.
· Experience with payroll processing a plus.
· You will be incredibly computer savvy with a high proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· You will be proficient in data entry and management.
· You will be extremely organized with great time management skills.
· You will be able to multi-task while focusing on the importance of details.
· If a billing issue arises, you will be able to research and resolve the problem by following our Core Values to exceed the customers’ expectations.
· You will exude a pleasant and friendly personality and demonstrate a good sense of humor.
· You will enjoy a Monday – Friday schedule from 8:15am – 5:00pm
PLEASE NOTE: This is considered a geographically essential position requiring presence in our Moorestown NJ Office; working remotely is not available.
