Job Description
The basic function is to receive incoming materials, perform the necessary computer transactions, and ensure the orderly and timely movement of parts from receipt to shipment to customer.
** Job Duties** :
- Responsible for receiving and entering incoming materials into the SAP system.
- Generates bills of lading (BOLs) and packing slips.
- Prepare purchase orders and shipping labels.
- Verifies received goods to purchase orders as to identification, type, quantities, and part numbers.
- Monitor incoming containers arriving from overseas.
- Works with accounting to reconcile inventory receipts.
- Run computer reports as directed by the Manager.
- Maintain record keeping, filing systems, and reference manuals.
- Assists in answering incoming phone calls and data entry.
