Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing outgoing shipments, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring accuracy in all shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
Lifting and Carrying : Ability to lift and carry packages and boxes of varying weights, typically up to 50 pounds or more, depending on the specific job requirements.
Standing and Walking : Shipping clerks often spend extended periods standing while preparing shipments or moving around the warehouse or shipping area.
Bending and Reaching : Capability to bend, stoop, reach, and stretch to access and handle packages and materials.
Manual Dexterity : Skill in using hands and fingers to handle small packages, operate packaging equipment, and complete paperwork accurately.
Visual Acuity : Good eyesight to read shipping labels, verify inventory, and inspect packages for accuracy and condition.
Attention to Detail : Accuracy in counting, labeling, and documenting shipments to ensure correct delivery and tracking.
Safety Awareness : Awareness of safety procedures to handle packages and operate equipment safely to prevent accidents and injuries.
Physical Endurance : Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, which may include repetitive tasks and working in varying temperatures within a warehouse environment.
Communication Skills : Ability to communicate effectively with team members, carriers, and customers regarding shipping instructions and updates.
Additional Information
Working Pattern : 7:00am - 4:00 pm
Hourly Rate : Starting at $18.00/hr.
