Shipping Coordinator - Industrial Suspension Solutions - Base Salary to 40k/year - Duncan, SC

• Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered suspension solutions used in lighting, HVAC, and industrial applications. They have been a trusted provider in the commercial sectors for over 30 years, partnering with OEMs, distributors, and commercial clients to deliver high-quality, safety-focused solutions.
  
• They are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join their team. This is a hands-on role where the Shipping Coordinator will keep orders moving on time and customers happy. The ideal candidate combines clear communication, a solutions mindset, and a detail-oriented approach to shipping performance and cost control.

Responsibilities:

• Create labels and shipping documents, including BOLs, packing slips, and commercial invoices
  
• Book UPS, FedEx, and LTL pickups and compare rates/transit times
  
• Pick, pack, palletize, and wrap outbound orders; verify counts and weights
  
• Track in-transit shipments, resolve exceptions, and file claims when needed
  
• Maintain shipment data in ERP/WMS and carrier portals with high accuracy
  
• Coordinate schedules with customer service, production, and warehouse
  
• Prepare export paperwork and ensure compliance with basic customs requirements
  
• Keep the shipping area organized, safe, and audit-ready
  
• Monitor daily KPIs such as on-time ship rate and order accuracy
  
• Support continuous improvement to reduce damages and control freight costs

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in shipping/receiving or logistics, preferably in manufacturing or distribution
  
• Hands-on experience with UPS, FedEx, and LTL carrier portals and online tracking
  
• Working knowledge of commercial invoices and basic export documentation
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; ERP/WMS experience is a plus
  
• Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet wrapping; forklift certification is a plus
  
• Able to lift 25 - 35 lbs and follow all safety procedures
