    Job Description

    ** Role Description**

    The primary responsibility of the Shipping Coordinator is to organize inbound and outbound orders for transportation planning.

    ** Duties & Responsibilities**

    • Work Order completion in ERP
    • Participate in daily load plan call with WireCo Logistics team to discuss orders shipping within three business days
    • Create and verify details are accurte and updated on required identification materials: barcodes, certifications, bag tags, metal tags, plastic tags, and/or vinyl tags per customer specification
    • Process shipments: produce accurate pick lists, add transport notes in ERP, and pull bills of lading from TMS
    • Work with WireCo Logistics team for booking details on all prepaid shipments (carrier information, pickup and delivery dates)
    • Plan and manage outbound customer collect and third-party shipments in the TMS
    • Communicate with internal stakeholders and/or carriers when ETAs are needed
    • Ensure all test orders are provided on the email chain same-day shipment departs
    • Complete daily variance report for DC Manager with precision
    • There may be other duties and work-related tasks assigned by management

    ** Required Qualifications**

    • A high school diploma or GED
    • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
    • Fast paced environment requires detail orientation, ability to perform multiple tasks, and high degree of initiative
    • Ability to resolve problematic situations resourcefully

    ** Materials and Equipment Directly Used**

    • Standard office equipment including computer, mouse, fax, keyboard, telephone, calculator, multifunction copier
    • Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed safety shoes

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
    • An applicant must complete a satisfactory background check post-offer of employment. A criminal conviction will not be an automatic bar to employment.
    • Must be willing and able to pass a post-offer drug screen and physical (if required)
