  • Responsibilities

    Investment Watches is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to handle incoming and outgoing packages at our Austin showroom.

    This is an active, hands-on position. Most of your day will involve opening packages, checking and documenting their contents, carefully packing luxury watches, preparing shipments, and keeping our shipping area organized. You will use a computer for shipping labels and records, but the main focus is handling items and getting packages ready.

    Responsibilities

    • Receive and open incoming packages
    • Check watches, accessories, and paperwork against shipment records
    • Photograph incoming items and record their details
    • Flag damage, missing items, or discrepancies immediately
    • Label items and deliver them to the appropriate team
    • Carefully wrap, protect, and pack luxury watches and other valuable items
    • Prepare shipping labels and check addresses, shipping instructions, and insurance requirements
    • Organize outgoing packages and coordinate carrier pickups and drop-offs
    • Track shipments and report delivery issues
    • Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing items
    • Keep the packing area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
    • Follow company security procedures when handling valuable items

    Qualifications

    • Enjoys practical, hands-on work
    • Careful and attentive to small details
    • Dependable, punctual, and organized
    • Comfortable spending much of the workday on your feet and handling packages
    • Able to follow packing, intake, and security procedures consistently
    • Comfortable using basic computer systems for shipping labels and records
    • Communicates clearly and asks questions when something does not match
    • Shipping, receiving, packing, retail stockroom, or warehouse experience is helpful
    • No luxury-watch experience required; training will be provided
    • Must work on-site at our Austin showroom
