Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $22 – $25/hour
Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations? We’re hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join a well-established manufacturing team that supports critical industries, including U.S. government and defense contracts. This position offers a consistent schedule, hands-on work environment, and excellent work-life balance with a 4-day work week.
Position Highlights
- 4-Day Work Week: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and any visible damage.
- Accurately document material receipts and move products to appropriate locations using a forklift as needed.
- Prepare and stage outgoing shipments according to customer specifications and freight documentation.
- Verify and complete shipping paperwork, including freight bills and delivery confirmations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform routine equipment cleaning and support other warehouse tasks as needed.
Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus.
- 6+ months of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with JobBoss or Proshop ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with shipping documentation and recordkeeping.
- Effective time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and comply with all federal work authorization requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, stooping, crouching, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Regular use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Exposure to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and moderate to high noise levels in the warehouse environment.
