Job Description
We have an exciting new position in our warehouse for a Shipping & Receiving Associate. In this role, you will ensure our products are packaged accurately, labeled correctly, and shipped on schedule. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
THE ROLE
Packaging Preparation: Prepare, pack, and palletize finished label products for shipment according to customer specifications and internal quality standards. Verify product quantities, job numbers, and label accuracy before packaging. Apply appropriate shipping labels, banding, wrapping, and identification tags as needed.
**Shipping & Receiving Support: **Assist with loading and unloading trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided). Support the receiving process by checking in materials, verifying counts, and storing items properly when needed. Communicate with the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor regarding shortages, damaged materials, or shipping delays.
**Workplace Organization & Safety: **Maintain clean, organized work areas following Lean and 5S principles. Follow all company safety guidelines and report hazards immediately. Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent. Consistent work history. Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping and receiving role is preferred.
Skills: Ability to read job tickets, packing lists, and shipping documents accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping systems helpful. Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
Abilities: THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN OMAHA, NE and requires the ability to work at our office at 132nd & L Street. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Must be authorized to work in the United States, and able to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen. Desire to live out our values as a team player and advocate for our culture:
