Dayton-Granger, Inc. is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Technician to support daily operations across our Stockroom and Shipping/Receiving departments. This is a hands-on, dual-role position combining computer-based inventory management with physical material handling, packing, and fulfillment.
The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, enjoys variety in their day, and is comfortable working in both a warehouse and office setting. You'll float between teams based on daily operational needs and play a vital role in keeping our shipping and inventory processes running smoothly.
Accurately enter inventory and receiving data into the ERP system
Confirm incoming shipments and print necessary documents (labels, packing slips, etc.)
Assist in checking and receiving incoming parts and materials
Deliver items to proper locations and help organize the stockroom
Perform inventory transactions such as issuing, returning, or fulfilling backorders
Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy and reconciliation
Assemble kits for production and ensure lot number traceability
Support packing, labeling, and shipping customer orders
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Float between departments and support daily operational needs as directed
Follow all DG safety procedures and policies per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–2 years of experience in inventory, stockroom, or warehouse work preferred
Basic computer and data entry skills (ERP experience is a plus)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet throughout the day
Comfortable working in both office and physical warehouse environments
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
