Join Our Team as a Shipping & Receiving Technician – New Service Center in Hobbs, NM!

We’re excited to announce our new service center in Hobbs, New Mexico , and we’re looking for an energetic and reliable Shipping & Receiving Technician to join the team!

In this role, you’ll handle a variety of responsibilities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and local driving/delivery tasks. We’re seeking a flexible team player who can adapt to changing priorities and work varying hours as business needs evolve. Please see the job description below for more details about the position.

The Shipping/Receiving Technician maintains an organized supply/inventory control system for the use and distribution of supplies and equipment for all departments. Ships and receives a variety of parts and materials from vendors and clients. Performs daily maintenance activities and routine preventative maintenance on facility equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains the inventory control system for all departments.
• Receives and distributes incoming supplies to appropriate department.
• Prepares and ships sampling kits to clients or on-site crews to obtain samples for analysis.
• Preparation may include: preparing product descriptions, labels, lot numbers, palletization, special instructions.
• Maintains bottle and cooler inventory.
• Packs in-house samples for shipment to other laboratories
• Deliver and/or pick-up client samples or bottle orders upon request of project requirements and tracking bottle orders.
• Answers inquiries from Project Managers and clients concerning bottle

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Customer Service skills required
• Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Certificates and/or Licenses:

• Valid state issued driver’s license
• Hazardous Shipping certificate.

Additional Information

Position is full-time position, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm with possibility of overtime.

Compensation range: $19 - $22 / hour
