Position Summary

MTI, Inc. is seeking a reliable, honest, and skilled person who likes working with his or her hands to package product and ensure MTI's high-quality medical chairs and cabinetry ship safely to our customers. You will contribute to making medical chairs that help good doctors and specialists to deliver even better care to their patients.

$18 and up based on experience

Tasks & Requirements

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read, listen to, and understand English.
• Cooperation and collaboration with coworkers and manager.
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment, delivering the proper paperwork, packaging, and quantity for each order.
• Follow directions, work independently, and be accountable for tasks.
• Perform final quality checks on products to make sure they match packing information, are properly packaged and ready for shipment.
• Use forklift to load boxes up to 6-feet in size onto semitrucks.
• Work with power tools for minor assembly and pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Be detail-oriented in following directions, making improvements to your own work, and learn from errors.

Preferred Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Experience using computers systems is preferred.
• Related experience preferred.

Work Environment

• Indoors, and a clean environment!
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)—safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
• Warehouse environment.
