Responsibilities:

Perform daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely processing of orders.

Coordinate with warehouse staff to maintain accurate inventory levels and records.

Help implement best practices for shipping procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Train and mentor team members on safety protocols and operational procedures.

Conduct regular audits of shipping and receiving processes to ensure compliance.

Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline transportation and delivery schedules.

Resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively.

Utilize shipping software to track and manage shipments and inventory.

Requirements:

Proven experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lead a future team and foster a collaborative work environment.

Knowledge of shipping software and inventory management systems.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Forklift certification is a plus.

Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
