JOB DESCRIPTION

Our culture is high energy, entrepreneurial, and autonomous. Reporting to the Senior Email Marketing Manager, you'll manage the end-to-end execution of Shipt's cross-channel marketing campaigns. You'll work with our amazing Brand Design team to produce best-in-class email, in-app, and push notifications to Shipt's loyal member and shopper base.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about email marketing best practices, has meticulous attention to detail, and is a resourceful problem solver with a proactive approach to getting things done. You're comfortable framing campaign performance results and working with our marketing analytics team to derive actions and insights.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Produce hand-coded HTML email campaigns to spec from design comps and copy decks in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure rendering consistency across web and app-based email clients
• Create campaign segmentation and targeting
• Build and deploy campaigns in our marketing automation platform, always thinking of ways to improve team processes
• Communicate project status updates to key stakeholders
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to ensure transactional and triggered email campaigns are fully documented, monitored, and updated as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years of experience producing cross-channel campaigns using marketing automation platforms such as Oracle Responsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MailChimp, Mandrill, Iterable, etc.
• Solid expertise hand-coding HTML and CSS
• Experience with Litmus and familiarity with common email rendering bugs and hacks
• Proficient in Photoshop and Sketch
• Excellent project management skills, ability to multitask effectively, and work cross-functionally
• Bonus Points:
  • Experience with SQL
  • You understand the grocery delivery business and have a thirst to improve the overall online shopping delivery experience
  • Familiar with project management tracking tools like Wrike, Asana, Jira, etc.
