Shipt is a membership-based marketplace that helps people get the things they need. Our friendly shoppers handpick fresh groceries and household essentials and deliver them to members in as soon as one hour.

Internships are available starting Summer 2019 and require the ability to maintain a consistent work schedule of 20 - 40 hours per week.  These internships are paid.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn cutting edge technologies and processes solving complex problems using modern tools and techniques
• Build systems and infrastructure that deploys and operates Shipt's business applications
• Work closely with engineers to support deployment and operation of their services
• Help diagnose and troubleshoot issues in production
• Design, improve, and document processes

REQUIREMENTS

• Study in a Computer Science or other technology related field
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language
• Passion for automating manual tasks
• You are interested in continually learning and mastering new skills
• You communicate complex ideas and concepts simply and concisely

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Understanding of networking principles
• Exposure to Kubernetes
• Exposure to Terraform
• Experience with Go or Ruby
