Position Overview: American Millworks is seeking dependable shop helpers to support our production team in a fast-paced, high-end millwork environment. This role is critical to keeping the shop running efficiently and maintaining the quality standards our projects require.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist craftsmen with material handling, assembly support, and general shop tasks

Move and stage materials throughout the shop safely and efficiently

Help with packaging and preparing millwork for delivery

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Support cutting, sanding, and prep work as directed

Assist with loading and unloading deliveries

Qualifications:

Prior shop, warehouse, or construction experience preferred

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet throughout the day

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Attention to detail and respect for quality craftsmanship

Preferred (Not Required):

Experience in a millwork or cabinet shop

Familiarity with basic tools and equipment

Forklift experience
