Summary – Machine Shop Helper: Our Precision Machining client is growing, and we’re seeking a Machine Shop Helper to support their operations on a part-time basis for 24 hours per week. This is a hands-on, entry-level position.

Part-Time Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00am-12:00pm

Responsibilities – Machine Shop Helper

• Support workflow operations by helping the skilled production staff to complete their work more efficiently 
• Unpackage and stock raw material
• Pull material for upcoming production runs and help stage for machining
• Support general maintenance and shop upkeep
• Support general shipping and receiving functions

What We’re Looking for in a Machine Shop Helper

• Positive can-do attitude 
• Ability to multi-task
• Dependability and reliability
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract and measure 
• Any exposure to shop environments, trade school, or machining coursework is a plus
