EHC is currently looking for Machine Shop Operators for a client in the Travelers Rest, SC area.

Job Summary:

Perform an array of functions that may include helping in several different departments; grinding, inspections, painting and marking parts. When needed, could assist in pulling orders and boxing parts in the Warehouse.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of general warehouse related
• Experience with manufacturing / shop environment a plus
• Ability to cross-train in different areas of warehouse to assist where needed
• Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
  

Responsibilities:

• Assist with grinding (hand grinder)
• Assist with checking parts (Inspection depart)
• Assist with marking parts / painting parts
• Assist with pulling orders
• Assist with boxing parts in the warehouse
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, sweep, dust and mop.
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all times
• Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. Occasionally life and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. (with the proper lifting equipment)
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
