The shop porter is responsible for ensuring the shop floor and back areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked. They support staff in maintaining a safe and tidy environment and assist with deliveries. Responsibilities: • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the shop floor and back areas tidy and organized. Sweep, mop, and clean as required. • Support Deliveries: Help receive and organize deliveries, ensuring products are correctly stored and processed. • Waste Management: Dispose of waste, packaging, and other materials in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. • Health & Safety: Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a clean, safe working environment for customers and staff. Qualifications: Required Skills and Qualifications: • Good physical fitness is required, as the role involves manual labor, and the ability to lift up to 100lbs. • Ability to work well in a team. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to take initiative and work independently when needed. Desired Qualifications: • Previous experience in a similar role (warehouse, retail, etc.) is a plus. • Understanding of health and safety regulations. Compensation: $24,000 - $25,000 yearly
