Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shop Technician to join our team. In this position, you will support the warehouse operations by receiving shipments, making parts, and storing/organizing inventory. The Shop Technician shall report to the Production Manager and carry out hands-on daily production tasks including mounting mechanical equipment, manufacturing custom parts, pvc plumbing, assembling systems, testing, and shipping our products and systems. Other duties include production tasks such as testing systems, maintaining documentation, receiving materials, crating, packaging, loading, and working with others to complete projects. Assist with other areas of the business as necessary. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as well as general experience with hand tools.

Responsibilities

Process incoming shipments in a neat and organized fashion

Pull stock to fulfill, package, and prepare orders for shipping

Ensure orders are accurate and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Manufacture and assemble custom parts

Adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED is preferred

Previous experience working in a warehouse setting or construction is required

Ability to use warehouse equipment, including forklift, pallet jacks, and hand tools

Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects

Ability to work with limited supervision

Excellent organizational and time management skills
