Puri-T Welding & Fabrication is a growing structural steel welding shop looking for an experienced Shop Welder/Fabricator to join our team. If you have experience fitting, fabricating, and welding structural steel and take pride in producing quality work, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of welding and fabrication experience

Ability to read and interpret structural steel shop drawings

Structural steel fabrication and welding experience preferred

Proficient in GMAW-S and FCAW-G

Experience fitting, laying out, and assembling structural steel components

Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment including saws, ironworkers, drills, grinders, and overhead cranes

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

Read and interpret shop drawings to fabricate structural steel components

Fit, tack, and weld structural steel and miscellaneous metal products

Verify dimensions and maintain quality throughout the fabrication process

Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Work with shop supervisors and team members to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
