RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in building revenue and growth of the company.
• Review new mortgage applications and determine needs; financial situations, credit history, creditworthiness, and mortgage risk profiles.
• Work side by side with various lenders and lead clients from submission to closing.
• Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log of CRM. Assist set-up of loans.
• Manage the pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times.
• Manage prospects in Pre-approval status by following up on the home search - connect 3 times a week via phone, email, text.
• Verify that vendor orders are complete, invoices received, and in the applicant’s e-file.
• Communicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information.
• Review loans for compliance with all mortgage-related regulations (RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, etc.) and prepare the required disclosures.
• Prepare a loan approval summary, Forms 1008 and 1003, and ensure the accuracy of all the information printed on those documents. Communicate directly with the Loan Originator, customer, and underwriter to obtain initial and any missing documentation required to qualify for the loan.
• Identify any potential issues that may arise in underwriting.
• Verify that an application is complete and accurate.
• Complete the required loan checklist.
• Verify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file.
• Assemble the complete loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Perform a thorough review and analysis of borrower’s credit, employment, income and assets as required by the particular loan program before submitting to underwriting.
• Provides proper disclosures when required by applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Acts as a liaison between the client and the lender.
• Providing quality customer service by obtaining the necessary documentation to underwrite the loan and ordering third party documentation by communicating directly with the customer and/or the loan officer in a professional and effective manner.
• Make credit decisions and manage loans collaboratively with the rest of the team.
• Structure, negotiate and authorize mortgage details and conditions of the advance.
• Work with clients to solve issues with their application.

• Experience working with a minimum of 5 lenders
• Mortgage industry experience.
