    We’re looking for a Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our Global Go to Market and Demand Generation team.

    As a Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will be committed to helping accelerate the success of merchants worldwide on Shopify, by fostering the adoption and engagement of new and innovative products and solutions. All this work will operate within the context of Lifecycle Marketing, effectively supporting full-funnel programs that take merchants from leads to active customers, promote engagement and adoption of key solutions to help increase value exchange and customer success. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative, and ever-changing environment.
    • A marketing generalist that understands the fundamentals of most growth marketing channels, but has the experience and skills to go deep when necessary.
    • The ability to strategize, prioritize, and execute growth plans quickly and independently.
    • A curious, entrepreneurial, resourceful approach to problem solving - you'll need to research and seek out relevant information when needed.
    • The ability to work in both a collaborative team environment and independently
    • Growth mindset - if I don’t know how to do it, I’ll learn or figure it out.
    • The ability to blend an analytical, data-first approach to problem solving, the creativity to formulate strategies, and the communication ability to share your vision with stakeholders and secure buy-in.
    • Rock-solid understanding of email marketing and customer journey mapping.
    • Understanding of paid media programs, platforms, and strategies an asset (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Instagram).
    • Understanding of digital analytical tools including Google Analytics and ExactTarget, Marketo, and Salesforce.

    Qualifications

     

    • Work with product, sales, and product marketing teams to define activation, engagement, and conversion goals for their respective product lines.
    • Conceptualize and execute always-on growth programs to help meet these objectives alongside other members of the growth marketing team.
    • Consult and advise product marketing teams on growth strategies, A/B tests, and conversion rate optimizations for one-off campaigns.
    • Conduct experiments and identify leading indicators to uncover insights and a better understanding of our merchants and how they use each product line.
    • Map marketing funnels and refine segmentation to better align with conversion objectives and merchant behaviors.
    • Build, analyze, and optimize customer journeys pertaining to each product.
    • Maintain high-trust relationships and identify opportunities for cross-collaboration with lifecycle marketing, product, product marketing, sales, and support teams.
    • Showcase and socialize our impact around the organization and prove the value we’re creating for business owners.

    ADDITIONAL ASSETS:

    • Previous entrepreneurial experience, either as a Shopify merchant, early-stage technology crafter, or founder.
    • Previous financial services or shipping solutions experience an asset, but not required.
    • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Journey Builder an asset, but not required.
    • A consulting portfolio or previous evidence of making an impact within a large organization.
    • A personal mantra of owning your own development - please share courses you’ve taken, books you’ve read, or mentors you’ve connected with to level up your skillset or move closer towards mastery of craft.
