Tarpon Shores Dental is a small, well established general dental office located in beautiful Englewood, Florida. The practice is  part of a small emerging Dental Service Organization called Shore Dental Partners. 

We are currently looking for a Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate can be a recent graduate from an accredited Dental Assisting School or someone with 1-3 years of DA experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and prepare operatory rooms.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Assist with hygiene, as needed.
• Taking dental radiographs (if licensed).
• Taking patient medical history, blood pressure and pulses.
• Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocols and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Entering patient information into charting system.
• Handling reception/seating/and dismissal of patients.

REQUIREMENTS:

• New Dental Assistant graduate or 1-3 years of prior DA experience.
