    • Our client, a well-established and highly regarded retail showroom specializing in large home appliances, is seeking an experienced Showroom Sales Consultant to join their team in Princeton, NJ. This is a fully onsite, consultative retail sales role focused on delivering a high-end customer experience within a premium showroom environment. Ideal candidates will have prior experience selling large home appliances and a proven ability to succeed in a commission-driven sales environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver a high-touch, consultative sales experience to retail customers in a showroom setting
    • Guide customers through product selection across major appliance categories including washers, dryers, refrigeration, cooking appliances, and dishwashers
    • Manage inbound inquiries (phone and web) along with walk-in traffic
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat and referral business
    • Maintain showroom presentation standards to reflect a premium retail environment
    • Utilize CRM or ERP systems to track customer interactions, quotes, and sales activity
    • Stay current on product offerings, pricing, and manufacturer promotions
    • Close sales and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets in a commission-based structure

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience selling large home appliances in a retail or showroom environment:
      • Including washers, dryers, ovens, ranges, refrigeration, grills, and dishwashers
    • Demonstrated success in a commission-based sales environment with measurable performance
    • Experience in consultative, customer-facing retail sales (B2C)
    • Strong closing ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
    • Professional presence and communication skills suited for a high-end clientele
    • Ability to work independently in a performance-driven, commission-based role
    • Experience using CRM or ERP systems (such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar)

    Compensation:

    • Base pay of $15.92/hour, plus uncapped commission
    • On-target earnings ranging from 70k - 300k+ annually, based on performance
    • Commission structure based on gross margin with a sliding scale
    • Additional manufacturer incentives (SPIFFs) available
