We are looking to hire a hard-working, personable individual to work at our store location in Weyers Cave, VA. This job would entail assisting with sales of plants and bulk mulch and stone as well as being responsible for helping to maintain our retail lot (watering plants, weed control, organizing, etc.). Bulk materials are loaded with a tractor, and applicants must either know how to operate a tractor or be willing to learn. Responsibilities: • Assisting customers with tree and shrubbery purchases • Ensuring that all plant material is adequately watered and properly taken care of • Loading plants and bulk materials for customers • Basic maintenance of equipment and irrigation systems • Assisting in general landscape maintenance at the retail location Qualifications: Applicants must have good communication skills and be self-motivated. They will need to be willing to learn about plants and their care. Applicant must also become proficient in the operation of a tractor with a loader. Compensation: $17 - $20 hourly
