QA ANALYST-T24 TESTING SPECIALIST

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking T24 Testing Specialists with knowledge of banking operations processes and regulations. This is a critical role in our growing organization as we build out our unique value proposition to provide improved services and business tools for our clients. As an early member of the team you would help define the future of better banking through the role and its impact on the organization.With the team, be responsible for running the day-to-day technology operations of a new bank that is developing a cutting-edge core banking platform to provide an enchanting experience for our clients.

TEST PREPARATION:

• Design test cycles/ test sets for T24 & TPH Functional Testing to be leveraged in Regression Testing, QA Testing (QAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases
• Organization of test case priority and release streams
• Work with Validata contractors to create automated test scenarios based on requirements from Bank stakeholders (Sometimes writing test scenarios, sometimes verifying scenarios written by contractors

TEST EXECUTION:

• Organize test schedule, test cycles for automated test scripts (created by Validata team and yourself)
• Manual testing execution when necessary

DEFECT MANAGEMENT:

• Work with Validata contractors, T24 integrators, and Banking stakeholders to triage issues raised during test execution
• Assign priority and severity to defects based on knowledge and input from Bank stakeholders
• Manage defect lifecycle through JIRA by tracking defect status, age, etc.
• Create/Update dashboards for upper management about defect lifecycle reporting

RELEASE MANAGEMENT:

• Coordinate with T24 integrators, Bank IT Ops team, and Temenos Datacenter to facilitate deployment of packages into the Bank Development and Bank QA environments
• Communicate these deployments to all relevant parties
• Validate issue and bug fixes that are deployed to QA

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of experience with testing of T24
• Experience in defining and implementing quality assurance processes across an organization
• Consultative capacity, and close collaborations with QA, Dev and Product Management
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end QA testing lifecycle
• B.S. Degree in CS, Engineering or relevant professional experience

NICE TO HAVE:

• Familiarity with Validata Automated Testing Suite or other test script automation software: Creation of test scripts, execution of test scripts, creation of test sets and test cycles, etc.
• Familiarity with test management software e.g. HP-QC, qTest, Zephyr, XRay
