    Contract Stock Loan BA/Support

    This position will be hybrid NYC, At Least 3 Days in Office

    A hands-on BA who will work closely with business users and IT to document requirements and manage multiple concurrent projects. In addition, this role will require data analysis and database development experience with a good working knowledge of SQL.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Perform analysis of the requirements and write BRD / Functional specifications
    • Data Analysis and Reverse Engineering of existing processes (i.e. MS office macros, spreadsheets, manual processes, etc.)
    • Investigate and resolve data quality issues
    • SQL Query Development
    • User Excel Report Development
    • Vendor Integration, Scripting and Job Scheduling Development
    • Develop User Acceptance Test Plans
    • Perform User Acceptance Testing and work with development staff for issue resolution
    • Perform basic development work including some programming/scripting in order to facilitate vendor integration and in-house development
    • Must be comfortable in a team-oriented environment and possess skills to “win over” the trust of a broad user base.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience developing solutions for, Stock Loan
    • At least 3 years of experience working as a Project Manager
    • At least 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst
    • At least 5 years of experience working with relational databases, SQL and Stored Procedures (preferred Microsoft SQL Server)
    • Vendor Integration Development - Import / Export File Processing, FTP Interfaces, Connectivity Setup
    • Job Scheduler Experience (preferred Tidal)
    • Linux and Window Scripting
    • Excel / VBA development experience a plus
    • Working Knowledge of FIX protocol
    • Ability to work with Business and Product Leaders to understand and document their Requirements.
    • Ability to Manage Vendor Relationships and Deliverables
    • Ability to develop and execute User Acceptance Test Plans
    • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
    • Effective Presentation Skills
    • Self-driven -- Ability to lead projects from initiation to completion.
    • Strong educational background with BS / MS in Computer Science
