Full-time BPS/IMPACT SME

MUST be local to New York City. This position is hybrid, with at least 3 days in the office, 2 days remote

MUST be a Permanent Resident or US Citizen.

Salary Range is $120k to $165k

We are seeking BPS/IMPACT SME to support the firm’s Post-trade Confirmation, Settlements and Clearing lines for Derivatives, Equities, Securities and Cash products. Includes directly supporting users on various platform’s workflow processes, maintaining data and responding to internal data audit requests. Act as SME on various project requirements gathering as well. This is a challenging position requiring a strong person with proven experience in business analysis, design, delivery, some project management and production support. The role asks the candidate to propose and deliver solutions for Information Technology, specifically for Back Office / Operations IT.

MUST have previous exposure/knowledge of SWIFT protocols, Payment processing, Transaction Clearing and the Broadridge product suite (Impact, BPS) at a bank.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support for Broadridge Applications such as BPS, Impact, GLOSS, MBSE and STM in support of Front Office, Regulatory reporting, Clearance, Middle Office, Static Data and Reconciliations.
• Perform business analysis to understand the requirements and act as SME for all IT projects involving the Broadridge product suite. Responsible for supporting the testing of enhancements and fixes. Support infrastructure changes (database, MQ, application updates) related to Broadridge and the clearing bank.
• Identify, document and manage risks. Recognize issues and proactively create solutions to mitigate adverse impacts.
• Identify, document and remediate gaps in processes and ensure the alignment of IT department with internal guidelines and industry best practices. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management of Information Systems, or related business discipline(s).
• 8-12 years’ work experience with IT or process engineering
• Process mapping/ process improvement experience
• Basic SQL query knowledge
• Experience as a business analyst working with post-trade processing services and applications (Broadridge, DTCC) would be a plus
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks
