Contract IT SOX Audit

Must work onsite in NYC 4 days in office, 1 day remote and MUST have previous experience working in a financial firm to be considered.

Duties:

• IT SOX compliance testing
• Solid grasp of IT SOX Audit.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills required.

Qualifications:

• Highly effective and efficient in playing an audit liaison role between IT SMEs and auditors.
• Proficient in assessing effectiveness of ITGC controls
• Write and implement controls for risk mitigation and issue remediation. Efficient in managing scope and timeline of audit projects
• Organized and effective in keeping track of threads of multiple audit projects at any given time and keep management informed of status of each project. A self-starter who is capable of complete tasks with minimum supervision.

Education:

• B.S. degree in IT, MIS , Finance & Accounting or related fields
• Education or continuous education in IT, Audit, Risk management, Finance & Accounting is a plus
