    The Firm seeks to hire entrepreneurial, team-oriented, self-motivating and driven professionals to join our Investment Banking Department, with immediate opportunity in its Biopharmaceutical group.This position will be based in New York.

    First year analyst, Investment Banking, Biopharmaceutical Group

    Our Firm is seeking a first-year analyst to add to our Biopharmaceutical team in our New York office.The candidate will play an integral role in supporting the origination and execution of the group's mergers & acquisitions, equity and financing mandates.

    Members of the team enjoy considerable responsibility throughout the course of each deal and work closely with the firm’s equity capital markets and research teams.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supporting the execution of equity and debt financings, M&A, and restructuring and recapitalization transactions.
    • Learn and perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable companies’ analyses.
    • Prepare pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memorandum, confidential information memorandum, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses.
    • Analyze detailed corporate and financial information, as well as conduct due diligence.
    • Develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching.

    PREFERRED BACKGROUND:

    • Preferably one year investment banking experience, either in internships or banking experience, M&A or ECM transactions preferred
    • Finance, Economics or Science majors preferred
    • Biopharmaceutical or Healthcare deal experience is a plus.

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE SKILLS:

    • Excellent financial analysis, and accounting skills / knowledge.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to handle projects simultaneously.
    • Resourceful self-starter; able to work autonomously.
