Contract IT Business Analyst (Chicago)

MUST be local to Chicago, IL. This position will start off remote and move to onsite.

IT Business Analyst who will focus on improving operations within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the hardware, software, and IT services that are being employed by the company
• Peruse the results and make suggestions as to what should be changed regarding company IT policies, structure, and operations.
• Problem-solving techniques to find solutions to issues
• Implemented solutions should continue to be monitored to analyze their efficiency and to make continuous improvements.

Skills:

• 3+ years of IT Business Analyst experience (Financial industry preferable)
• Strong research skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project management skills - Organized and effective in keeping track of threads of multiple projects at any given time and keep management informed of status of each project timely
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience.
