    Position Overview

    Supporting a local, family-owned transportation company, Class A Shuttle Drivers are responsible for safely transporting loads between our trucking facilities, warehouses, and customer locations.

    This role is ideal for candidates seeking steady, local driving work without overnight travel.

    Key Responsibilities

    Transport loads between designated warehouse and delivery locations in a safe and timely manner

    Follow routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient operations

    Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the shuttle vehicle and reporting any concerns or safety issues promptly

    Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding routes, delays, or issues

    Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations while driving the shuttle vehicle

    Support the team and perform additional relevant duties as needed

    What We’re Looking For

    Valid driver’s license and Class A Commercial Driver’s License (required)

    Previous CDL-A driving experience (preferred)

    Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (required)

    2+ years of incident-free commercial driving experience (preferred)

    Effective communication skills

    Ability to follow routes, directions and schedules

    Reliability; able to report to work on time daily and work independently

    What to Expect

    A reliable schedule with rotating available (Monday through Friday, with a 6:00 AM-7:00 AM start time and optional overtime available on Saturdays)

    A primary work location in south-central Maine

    Consistent routes mainly within the State of Maine that keep you close to home

    Sitting for long durations (must be able to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb, kneel, and walk as required to perform the duties associated with the driver role)
