    Our Paid Media Managers work with client relationship and delivery colleagues to ensure the most effective and efficient use of client paid media budgets. Paid Media Managers work to spend client media budgets with the highest levels of effectiveness and precision, but also seek to go beyond the brief to create media activation that’s driven by measured innovation.

    This role requires an advanced capability to build relationships at all levels of client organizations, an ability to manage and motivate internal and external stakeholders within a fast-paced environment, and a precise understanding of paid media campaign creation, implementation, strategy, analysis, delivery, and optimization, and how it can be applied to solve our clients’ commercial challenges across predominantly B2B scenarios.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    As part of the agency's delivery team, the Paid Media Manager will focus on delivery of paid marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Display and Search, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other niche B2B channels. The Paid Media Manager will constantly demonstrate excellence in project organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Key tasks to ensure:

    • Paid media campaigns are planned, implemented, managed and optimized to the highest levels of professionalism and accuracy.
    • Projects are approached with creative thinking to assess how results can be optimized across the delivery timeframe.
    • Campaigns are delivered in a timely manner and to expected budget.
    • QA check points are created and adhered to – so that all work is reviewed as required to ensure accurate implementation of paid media campaigns.
    • Reports are created on time and provide accurate content.
    • Attendance at client and internal meetings where applicable (both in person and remotely, where required) ensuring that all documentation, actions, and communications are accurately completed and managed as per company process and standards.
    • Client managers are fully up to date as to the progress of projects and campaigns.

    This role requires the delivery of:
    • Creative thinking at the planning stage to support the consultation process that goes into advising clients of the best approach to paid media campaigns across multiple platforms.
    • Paid media campaigns delivered accurately, to brief and to budget, with detailed attention to project set-up and audience targeting.
    • Daily management and optimization of paid media campaigns to ensure expected results are achieved and/or exceeded and internal/external client teams are continually updated as to status.
    • Accurate management, interpretation, and delivery of project administration, briefs, written communications, and commercial documentation, using in-company processes and standards.
    • Analysis and reporting: internal to client and project managers and external directly to clients on the progress of campaign delivery and performance across the various platforms, collating and organizing data from the respective sources and making it accessible for interpretation.
    • Supporting the client teams to interpret results and recommend improvements on the way campaigns are structured and delivered to achieve better results in successive campaigns.
    • An active role in the campaign briefing and set-up process to ensure the agency conveys the correct expectations to clients
    • An understanding of modern marketing techniques and a proactive approach to keeping pace with the fast-changing nature of B2B marketing – such as changes to key platforms, legislation and capabilities.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Computer Science, Communications, Business, Statistics, or Related Major. Three+ years of related experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

    Practical Skillset:

    • 2-3 years’ experience of B2B paid media campaign creation, implementation, strategy, analysis, optimization, management, and delivery across a range of ad inventory and platforms (previous agency experience preferred, but not required).
    • Strong understanding and knowledge of the anatomy of a paid marketing campaign, including AdWords, Google Ads, Bing, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, Instagram Ads, tag management, and Google Analytics processes, in addition to other paid media platforms.
    • Current certification in all 5 AdWords courses (or willingness to complete within 30 days of hire).
    • Proficiency to manage and optimize $1MM to $5MM in media ad spend across multiple B2B accounts and structure campaigns with relevance and precise targeting.
    • Ability to create and establish internal processes and procedures with a talent to innovate for our company.
    • Detail-oriented with exceptional quantitative analytical skills to produce required campaign reporting/analysis.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at the same time.
    • Deadline focused with the capacity to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Moderate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel.
    • Enterprise paid media campaign experience preferred.
