    Our client looks to the Account Manager to assume and further build upon the relationship started in the pre-sales process. The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for a particular client, serving as the client liaison in regards to the client’s production work in tandem with our Project Manager. This individual will be the trusted advisor to their client accounts helping customers increase their marketing knowledge, guide their clients to effectively grow their marketing campaigns, as well as drive revenue through the use of their services.

    The role will also be responsible for completing client reporting, as well as reviewing success metrics that assist in developing goals and aligning expectations. To be successful in this role, the Account Manager should have a love of people. Outgoing professionals that are articulate, kind, and look at life as half full, will enjoy this role. Building relationships with our clients is a fun and rewarding experience, which should involve face to face time to learn more about them as well as their organization.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • As the internal client advocate and primary point of contact, their expectation is that you would exceed the client’s expectations leading to consistently high client retention and satisfaction.
    • Maintain a clear understanding of client marketing plans, objectives, technology environment organizational structure, as it relates to their engagement and beyond.
    • Enhance client experience through the transfer of knowledge, education, and value provided.
    • Identify opportunities to upsell existing clients using a consultative sales approach.
    • Create client marketing strategy recommendations on a quarterly or bi-annual basis.
    • Work in partnership with our Project Manager to meet project deadlines.
    • Support internal departments by creating presentations, proofreading client deliverables, and additional documents.
    • Travel Required: 25%

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Computer Science, Communications or related major from college or university
    • Minimum of 1 year, successful experience in a client services role, with demonstrable experience
    • Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
    • Love of digital marketing (SEO, SEM, Websites, etc.), along with business acumen.
    • Proficient Google products as well as Microsoft products.
    • Experience with Google Analytics required, Certification preferred.
    • Positive team players are a must.
    • Experience with consultative selling is a plus.
