    The Social Media Specialist will assist with the company’s social media marketing and advertising and will be expected to monitor activity across a broad range of social networking sites, cultivate and grow online relationships with key target audiences, and seek new opportunities to integrate social media into our strategic marketing objectives.

    The Social Media Specialist is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. That passion comes through daily engagement as she/he engages with customers on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers and customers into advocates. This role reports directly to the Director of Communications.

    Primary responsibilities:

    • Partners with franchisees and Home Office team to provide responsive, clear, and concise direction to engage and build social media audiences.

    • Plans and executes social media strategies and reoccurring communications throughout the organization.

    • Creates and maintains engaging social media posts in a consistent voice, personality, and look and feel for the brand across all social media channels as it pertains to brand awareness and online reputation.

    • Responsible for social media brand management and post scheduling. This includes tracking post analytics.

    • Responsible for measuring, analyzing, and reporting to management on social media performance.

    • Researches ideal target audiences, current social media trends, and best practices to implement, maintain and enhance brand awareness.

    • Other duties may be assigned.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field; or equivalent work-related experience.

    • A minimum of 3 years working with a Social Media business page with over 1,000 followers, preferably in a corporate setting.

     

    Experience and Skills:

    • Home Health or Healthcare experience is preferred.

    • Experience using Facebook and Instagram in a business setting

    • Interest in marketing and analytics

    • Must have a proven track record on various social media portals

    • Must be able to work with several different departments and personalities while prioritizing and managing workload

    • Stellar communication, organizational, and project management skills – Includes written and verbal communication both in-person and over the phone

    • Must be comfortable communicating effectively to both individuals and groups

    • Must be comfortable communicating quickly and clearly under pressure, and determining the right method for the communication

    • Must be familiar with teleconference and online meeting tools, such GoToMeeting, GSuite, etc.

    • Very strong computer and web publishing skills. This must include proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), basic Photoshop, and video editing a plus.

    • Must be comfortable learning new software platforms, and quickly adapting. 

    • Must be proficient in using multiple social media platforms under brand-specific guidelines

    • Experience in communicating and collaborating with team members across the organization.

    • Experience with corporate culture and copywriting is a plus

    • Excellence in working independently, as well as in collaborative settings required
