    Job Description

    Successful candidates will have 1-2+ years of experience in business transformation, implementation, strategy, target operating model design, and operational transformation.

    We look for individuals that possess an exceptional work ethic, are analytical, exhibit intellectual curiosity, and possess domain knowledge within Financial Services. Our practice focuses on key trends that impact the broader Financial Services Industry like ESG, LIBOR, Operational Resilience, Fintech, etc.

    Our teams support our client’s initiatives within leading financial institutions and banks for their operational strategy management, regulatory & compliance advisory, change and transformation initiatives. You will be part of a team that is working directly with our managers and key stakeholders at the client, ultimately responsible for the successful execution of our client’s initiatives.

    Our consultants possess exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. We are seeking critical thinkers with proven writing and presentation skills.

    • Participation in initiatives with leading banks and Financial Institutions
    • Being hands on and contributing to the successful execution of client’s initiatives
    • Apply subject matter expertise from a domain, product, functional or technical perspective
    • Collaborate with internal and client project team members, and contribute to internal
    • communications and readiness activity within the program team and with client groups
    • Provide status reporting of progress, dependencies, issues, risks and overall program health
    • Contribute to the development of high-quality and timely deliverables
    • Perform subject matter research and business analysis
    • Support in the publication activities (sector blogs, articles, insights, etc.)
    • Business development by contributing to the definition of needs and participating in commercial
    • activities (development of pitches, responses to RFP, etc.)
    • Take part in the recruitment of future Consultants
    • Client delivery as part of an on-site or remote project team

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business
    • Previous management consulting experience required
    • 1-2+ years’ experience working within the Financial Services Industry
    • While it is not required, we do value candidates that have some experiences with:
    • Financial products including derivatives, equities, and fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities
    • Policies, procedures, operating model design, governance, in areas such as broker-dealer operations, trade lifecycle, KYC / client onboarding, treasury operations, custody/settlement, collateral management and regulatory initiatives
    • Business, Operational, Functional, or specific subject matter expertise within core domains (Front Office, Middle Office, Trade Management, Trade Support, Finance, Risk, Operations, Compliance, or Product)
    • Enjoy working on different types of assignments within the financial services industry and welcome the opportunity of new challenges while leveraging existing skill sets
    • Proven communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
    • A high level of drive and commitment to deliver high quality work while ensuring that client
    • expectations and deadlines are met
    • Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to provide examples of solutions applied in prior
    • experiences
    • The ability to learn new subject matter rapidly and a desire to develop a deep understanding of the trends and challenges shaping the financial services industry within a collaborative environment amongst Sia Partners colleagues
    • Flexibility in approach and a willingness to adapt quickly and take initiative when working in unstructured environments with limited supervision

While our firm does support hybrid work, there are times that we may require our consultants to work onsite at one of our Sia offices or a client office full-time. Consultants are expected to have the ability to be flexible with work location depending upon business needs. When in-between client engagements, Consultants typically work onsite at a local Sia office 2+ times per week.
