    Job Description

    The Human Resource (HR) Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and legal compliance. The position sits with our HR People Analytics/Compliance & Policy/Compensation & Benefits team and reports to our US HRBP. You will work closely with all HR team members in a collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and administer company benefits program, including insurance, PTO, etc. (company communications, presentations, etc.)
    • Define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits package that fits and is aligned to our company’s strategy and business goals
    • Create benefits and total compensation package to strategically attract, retain, and motivate high quality employees
    • Use various methods and techniques and make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensations
    • Assess employees needs by conducting surveys to find out what motivates and engages employees
    • Manage job analysis, job evaluation and job classification projects
    • Participate in salary and labor market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits
    • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues, and best practices
    • Resolve escalated employee issues related to benefits program
    • Mediate with insurance broker and carriers to resolve issues
    • Conduct periodic benefits audits and prepare reports
    • Research labor and employment laws to ensure compliance
    • Document and upkeep of company policies as needed to meet compliance mandates
    • Ongoing review and upkeep of employee handbook
    • Other projects as needed
  • Qualifications

    Requirements and skills

    • Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources degree or certification is a plus)
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
    • Ability to visualize, articulate and solve complex problems and make decisions based on analysis of available information
    • Critical thinking and passion around human resources topics
    • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • 2+ years relevant experience
    • The ability to work as part of a team and independently
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and the ability to create charts, spreadsheets, and presentations
    • Passion for research
    • Interest in learning current labor laws and regulations
    • Adequate knowledge of insurance carrier portals and HRIS
    • Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits
    • Must be within a reasonable commute to the Denver office

    Denver CO Compensation Info:

    Denver base compensation is $45,000- $60,000 a year. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and market location.
