    Job Description

    The Strategist is responsible for supporting and continuing to build out Sia Partner's CSR and Sustainability and portfolio within key Fortune 500 client accounts and with new business prospects.

    In this critical role, you will use your knowledge of sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting and issues to help companies build their reputation by marrying smart content strategy with impactful design.

    You have experience and a passion for the challenges to embed CSR within the core values and operations of a company, understand the process to develop a communications and engagement mix that will motivate employees and other key stakeholders.

    As a member of this team, you will provide subject matter expertise and support to other members of the team and to Addison at large, while ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality deliverables to client satisfaction. You will also provide leadership in setting the standard for seamless process management from project kick-off to completion, and facilitate integration and coordination among Sia Partner's practice areas, in particular Design and Digital.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Strategy

    • Supports Addison’s CSR and sustainability offering and enhances the Practice’s offerings within key client accounts and with new business prospects, in collaboration with other Addison practices
    • Creates strategic recommendations, presentations, and communications plans for CSR and sustainability reports and communications
    • Designs approaches to showcasing CSR and sustainability outcomes and impact for clients
    • Provides research and analysis for prospects and clients, which may include, but is not limited to, benchmarking, gap analysis, and trend tracking
    • Innovates client and agency thinking to deliver breakthrough designs and thinking

    Management

    • Serves as the main CSR and sustainability subject matter expert on multiple projects
    • Sets overall project requirements and ensures completion of deliverables distribution to clients and team
    • Oversees the flow of information in all project phases, ensuring that milestones such as client approvals and Addison proposal objectives are met and recorded
    • Provides, as needed, day-to-day project guidance to Client Service Managers and Creative team members
    • Is accountable for budget/billing standards and records for all projects
    • Keeps senior management informed of project status and needs
    • Addresses project and client issues strategically and effectively

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5 years professional experience in the sustainability or corporate social responsibility fields in an agency, non-profit or corporation
    • Knowledge of the sustainability and corporate social responsibility sector, its concepts, trends, frameworks, issue areas, and organizations
    • Experience in communications and project management
    • Bachelors’ degree; post-graduate degree in business or sustainability a plus
    • Experience using GRI and SASB Standards; certification is a plus

    SKILLS & CRITERIA

    • Ability to work as a team player in a highly entrepreneurial environment with minimal structure
    • Flexibility and the ability to take individual initiative and self-manage
    • Proven ability to make tight deadlines
    • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communications skills; Articulate and confident client presence
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail including proofreading
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (must be able to create and maintain spreadsheets with computations); knowledge of project management software (such as SmartSheet) programs a plus
    • Ability to work in Macintosh OS-X operating system environment (preferred)

     

    Additional Information

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS 

    Compensation for this role is $116k and $119k/ann. 

    Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills experience, qualifications, and market location

    HYBRID WORKPLACE GUIDELINES

    Sia Partners maintains its hybrid workplace arrangements and provides a flexible workplace environment that is driven by client and business/market needs. While our firm does support hybrid work, there are times that we may require our consultants to work onsite at one of our Sia offices or a client office full-time. Consultants are expected to have the ability to be flexible with work location depending upon business needs. When in-between client engagements, Consultants typically work onsite at a local Sia office 2+ times per week.
