Consultant, Business Analyst - Regulatory Technology & Financial Crimes
Job Description
You will support our emerging Regulation Technology team which works alongside our Financial Crimes Advisory group assisting clients in the design and execution of various regulation technology implementations, testing, tuning, and calibration of key BSA/AML, Sanctions and Fraud systems. These include transaction monitoring, sanctions filtering tuning, above the line/below the line analysis, identification of trends and patterns, model validations including DFS 504 certifications, and suspicious activity model design and refinement. The ideal candidate can work with large data sets to ensure that Compliance teams have the necessary information available to support policy development and decision-making.
This includes understanding regulatory requirements, applying them to financial services business models, designing systems, incorporating data effectively, and ensuring the effective execution of programs. This will also include creating and executing the periodic and ongoing tuning methodology for monitoring systems.

HYBRID WORKPLACE GUIDELINES
Sia Partners maintains its hybrid workplace arrangements and provides a flexible workplace environment that is driven by client and business/market needs. While our firm does support hybrid work, there are times that we may require our consultants to work onsite at one of our Sia offices or a client office full-time. Consultants are expected to have the ability to be flexible with work location depending upon business needs. When in-between client engagements, Consultants typically work onsite at a local Sia office 2+ times per week.
