Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or environmental management with a strong focus in climate-related impacts and sustainability. Master’s degree or above in sustainability or environmental management a plus.
- 7 to 11 years of recent client-facing management consulting experience with an emphasis on Sustainability and ESG projects
- Experience with, and knowledge of, GHG emissions accounting, climate risk assessment, and climate scenario analysis a plus; experience with data analytics & visualization preferred
- Strong awareness of current and emerging ESG-related regulation e.g. TCFD reporting; knowledgeable and comfortable providing clients with guidance on the evolving regulatory environment
- Developed ESG framework and implementation roadmap
- Design and implement ESG taxonomy, data collection processes and related controls
- Established ESG data platforms
- Design and/or participated in assessment of ESG risk profiles of clients
- Tested ESG data for completeness, accuracy and consistency
- Designed and developed ESG internal and external reports
- Interest and experience in ESG principles and frameworks (TCFD, SASB, UN Sustainable Development Goals, GRI, MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, EcoVadis, and S&P Global ESG)
- Holds or is willing to obtain within the first year of joining one of the following certifications: SASB, GARP’S SCR
- Ability to manage large complex stakeholder groups and proven track record in project management
- Based near one of our U.S. operating offices and an eligibility to work within the United States
