    Job Description

    Sibylline Ltd is looking for a professional and insightful GSOC Analyst to join our team in an embedded role within a 24/7 operation; Global Security Operations Centre based in the Louisville area. This is a hands-on position working in a state-of-the-art purpose-built GSOC, the Analyst will report directly to the Team Lead and GSOC Manager working as part of a tight-knit team. The Global Security Operations Centre's main responsibilities range from producing tactical intelligence to monitoring physical security functions to detecting and assessing threats and incidents and determining their impact on our client’s people, buildings and operations. Analysts detect, analyse, and advise on adverse conditions that could affect the safety, security and operational continuity of our clients. The analyst is responsible for intelligence gathering, incident & crisis management, monitoring physical security functions, and detecting. Assessing threats and determining their impact on our client’s employees, buildings and people. The GSOC uses a variety of tools such as; global access control and alarm monitoring systems, integrated video monitoring systems, enhanced visitor management systems, and in-house applications used to detect threats and incidents that may impact the company. These situations can include political instability, crime, terrorism, extreme weather or technical failures. Applicants to this role require the ability to research and analyse a wide range of information and create analyses in accordance with strict deadlines. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Functions of the role include and are not limited to;

    • Maintaining situational awareness and collecting and analysing information to ensure the safety and security of our clients' people, buildings and operations.
    • Detecting and assessing threats and incidents and determining their impact on our client
    • Using open-source intelligence (OSINT) sources and internal databases to produce tactical intelligence and conduct investigations.
    • Contributing to the management of critical incidents and emergencies at the clients' sites around the globe.
    • Writing and distributing notifications, and daily and weekly products.
    • Monitoring company events and safety of employees.
    • Triaging incidents and threats quickly and escalating to the Team Leader.
    • Working as part of a team, ensuring that they are receiving consistently high standards of support.
    • During the training period, the analyst is required to work all shifts.
    • Fully authorized to work in the United States.

    SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in fields such as security, intelligence, research and analysis, or in a security operations centre.
    • Knowledge of domestic and international geopolitical issues.
    • Experience analysing geopolitical events, intelligence and determining the implications for business operations.
    • Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV monitoring systems and other incident management and/ or security platforms.
    • Ability to manage issues effectively deals with challenges constructively and positively, and maintain productivity and high- performance levels under pressure.
    • Ability to accurately take decisive action based on available information in a timely manner.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Attentive, organised and detail orientated.
    • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
    • Able to work in both individual and team environments.
    • High level of competency with MS Office tools.

    PREFERRED

    • Masters Degree
    • Some understanding of Crises Management, Incident Response and Threat Monitoring using a variety of security tools.
