    Side By Side Nutrition is seeking a full-time dietitian to join its growing private practice in Fort Collins, CO. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible, ideally by February 2023, starting with a training period. This person must have experience and a passion for working with adolescents and adults with eating disorders and disordered eating. The position is full-time and provides benefits (401k with match, health/vision/dental insurance, paid time off, and flexible hours). Side By Side specializes in providing individual counseling for eating disorders in adolescents and adults, utilizing evidence and strengths-based approaches from a Health At Every Size and social justice lens. The owner will provide client referrals, marketing, electronic health record, insurance billing capabilities, a fully furnished office, printer/copier/fax, office supplies and maintenance, wireless Internet, EHR and insurance billing training, group and individual supervision, CEUs, and training, support, and other. The potential candidate needs to be a licensed registered dietitian nutritionist in the State of Colorado (RDN), preferably with training and experience in treating eating disorders and working with adolescents and adults. An ability and interest in providing family or group nutrition therapy services would also be a plus. The dietitian’s responsibilities would include providing individual counseling sessions, billing for each session and collecting payment, maintaining appropriate documentation in Kalix (EMR) and care coordination, and attending one team meeting each week. The ideal candidate would work well in collaboration with a team, be interpersonally comfortable and warm, and be interested in a long-term position within a growing, supportive private practice. READ MORE ABOUT THE PRACTICE HERE: sidebysidenutrition.com Responsibilities: • Provide nutrition therapy to clients and complete all administrative and record-keeping activities in a timely manner • Ability to treat adolescents and adults and interest in specializing in eating disorder treatment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in computer use for documentation, scheduling, and other job duties • Ability to maintain professional boundaries • The ability to see a minimum of 20 clients per week • Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work are required • Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Side By Side Nutrition • Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours, whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc., or through the SBS's website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients • Communicate with a patient’s treatment team as necessary • Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time to time by SBS. Keep patient files accurate and up to date • Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by SBS • Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of SBS.
