    Sidekick Homes is a Los Angeles area ADU Design-Build company helping homeowners make the best decisions in the financing, designing, building, and renting their ADUs so that their families can experience greater financial security and connectedness, and grow their avenues for generational wealth-building. We are hiring a motivated, full-time sales and consulting professional to bring clients’ accessory dwelling unit (ADU) ideas to life! We seek for every client to walk away with confidence, peace of mind, and delight after their interaction with a Sidekick team member. The ideal candidate is a highly sociable, yet organized and analytical problem-solver, who cares about delivering high-quality results to clients. We will handle the lead generation--Your job will be to go on high-quality consultation appointments with clients to help them determine their best options for building an ADU on their property.  Our ideal applicant also has a passion for delivering incredible service and the analytical aptitude to conduct research through multiple online sources, including state laws and local municipal codes. Responsibilities: • Familiarize yourself with state and local codes as they apply to ADUs • Perform client needs analysis to understand goals and concerns related to their ADU project • Conduct research on client property and create a report detailing property information, a number of ADU units allowable, zoning parameters, building parameters, utility, and construction access considerations, local rents, and cash flow and breakeven calculations • Meet with clients onsite to evaluate site conditions, determine the property’s ADU potential, and address considerations that will impact project feasibility and cost. Present researched report findings. Consult clients to help them determine the project scope that makes the most sense for their goals, their property, and their budget • Present design proposals and close deals with clients who are ready to move forward with their ADU • Consistently maintain contact with clients and team members to follow up and address the next steps • Refer clients to financing partners as needed • Log status, notes, and other important information in the company CRM • Create personal sales goals; track pipeline, sales, and conversion rates • Contribute to efforts to develop and hone internal systems to maximize effectiveness • Attend weekly meetings and training with team members to constantly broaden knowledge regarding ADUs and contribute to Sidekick's expansion Qualifications: • Self-driven and works well in a fast-paced, productivity-oriented environment • Able to conduct detailed investigations and decipher complex government code • A penchant for accuracy, attention to detail, and a sense of responsibility in providing correct and highly useful information to clients • Highly organized and diligent with client follow-up • Highly personable, with the ability to quickly build relationships • Someone who never compromises integrity • Exceptional communication and customer service skills • Ability to radiate positivity • Ability to work well both independently and with team members • Experience, knowledge, or interest in ADUs is a plus • Prior construction sales or solar sales experience is a plus • Basic knowledge of construction or design principles is a plus • Educational or work experience in city planning or urban planning is a plus • Must be located in the Los Angeles area • Must have an active driver’s license, and an operable, insured vehicle • Must have your own computer Proficient in the following software systems • Microsoft Word • Microsoft Excel • Microsoft PowerPoint • Microsoft Outlook - Email and Calendar • SharePoint and OneDrive (for document sharing) • Adobe Acrobat (for PDFs) • Zoom (for conference calls) Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 at plan commission
